{Week 13 layout}

{Day 91 ~ 3.31.12}

This morning we went to Victoria Park for the 3rd Annual Easter Egg Hunt. The girls each had a ticket and they had to go find 5 little plastic eggs the same color as their ticket. When they did that, they got to trade them in for a little treat bag. Kristen thought it was fun to see the Easter bunny but Kaylee didn't want any part in it.

Kaylee got invited to a friend's house for a playdate this afternoon so she got picked up right after school. Aren't they so cute? :)

{Day 89 ~ 3.29.12}

For Kristen's Explorer of the Week, I had to write a letter about her then put it in a sealed envelope so she wouldn't see what it said beforehand. At school today the teacher opened it and read it to the class. Kristen said she loved what I wrote. :)

{Day 88 ~ 3.28.12}

Kristen is "Explorer of the Week" in her class this week so today she was allowed to have someone in for lunch. She asked Mom & I to come, so I picked up some Subway to have there. Monday she had a bag full of things to show the class what she's all about and tomorrow I have to send in a letter about her (what she's like, how proud of her we are, etc.).

What a crappy day today! We got about 10" of snow and the roads were slippery yet they didn't cancel school. At least I got to and from my doctors app't okay.  After supper I went with Michele, Mom and Cameron to see The Hunger Games which was awesome!

{Day 86 ~ 3.26.12}

I made my current favorite dish for supper tonight...broccoli, chicken & rice cooked with cheese & a can of cream of chicken soup. It's SO yummy and really easy to make too!

While we were waiting for my in-laws to get home with Kristen this afternoon, Kaylee & I played some Wii Bowling then Mario Party 8 and to Kaylee's surprise, she won!

{Day 84 ~ 3.24.12}

Barry had to work today and Kristen is still gone, so to occupy Kaylee, we went to WalMart and the Workshop. At WalMart I got a frame for the picture of my in-laws they gave us. It's been years since they had theirs done so it's nice to have them on our wall. :)

{Day 83 ~ 3.23.12}

After Kristen left to go with her Nanny & Poppy for the weekend to see my niece Samantha compete in cheerleading, the kids were outside playing with their bikes. I started babysitting a boy in Kristen's class on Monday named Tristen (hard to not get their names mixed up LOL). It'll just be for the rest of the year and is going well so far!

{Day 82 ~ 3.22.12}

It was another beautiful day out today so I had the patio door open wide. Marlie just loves sitting by the door and sniffing the fresh air as well as listening to all the wildlife.

{Day 81 ~ 3.21.12}

Kaylee learned to ride a 2-wheeler yesterday using Kristen's old bike...as with Kristen, neither Barry nor I had a hand in it. LOL Today was another beautiful day so I took off her training wheels so she could keep practicing. With hardly a tumble at all, she is really doing a great job!

{Day 80 ~ 3.20.12}

Today was the first day of Spring and it was beautiful! Sunny and mild all day (except for the wind that made it a bit cool). Kaylee had Sparks tonight so Kristen & I tagged along. We walked up to the elementary school and played on the equipment, had a snack and played with chalk a bit.

{Day 79 ~ 3.19.12}

After getting Kaylee's new mini Wiimote in the mail today (we needed another one so decided to get a cute little one for Kaylee), I went to WalMart to grab a few things and got a greal deal on some clothes for the girls, including this cute pair of Tinkerbell jammies for only $3!

Kaylee went to her friend Sammy's birthday party at the Super 8 today. Barry brought her but didn't swim himself...she still had a great time anyway! He took this photo with his phone :)

{Day 77 ~ 3.17.12}

Today was a beautiful day so the girls played outside for a while with their bikes. Kaylee and her friend Madison came in after lunch to watch The Adventures of TinTin with Barry & I. It was really good!

{Day 76 ~ 3.16.12}

The girls came home this afternoon and the first thing Kaylee did was come straight to me and give me a big hug & kiss. She missed me so much, but ended up having a great time with no anxiety attacks at all!

{Day 75 ~ 3.15.12}

The shells my great aunt & uncle got in Florida came in the mail the other day along with some photos they took and some postcards! The shells are beautiful...the girls love them!! Thanks Gail & Ken!

{Day 74 ~ 3.14.12}

In the city, the girls went to the theatre to see The Lorax with my MIL. Here in Truro, I went and got my eyebrows waxed! I only get them done a few times a year so I love it when I go!

{Day 73 ~ 3.13.12}

My in-laws came to pick up the girls for a few days stay at their house in the city today! Kaylee had some tears when they first got here, but was good to go when they left. They are going to have a great time!

{Day 72 ~ 3.12.12}

Today Kristen headed over to her friend Bailey's house for a sleepover. After she left, Kaylee & I went to the mall then McDonald's for supper then home for a bit of Wii Bowling to keep her occupied.

{Day 71 ~ 3.11.12}

Kaylee is having a lot of anxiety because she thinks something is going to happen to me while she's away at her Nanny & Poppy's this week, so to get her mind off her never-ending worries, she & I played Wii bowling for a few hours today. She had a great time and totally forgot about them! She got many strikes and spares!

{Day 70 ~ 3.10.12}

Today was a beautiful day with the sun shining and it being above zero. The girls spent a good amount of time playing outside on their scooters.

{Day 69 ~ 3.9.12}

Today was my nephew Spencer's 7th birthday so the girls and I went to the bowling alley for his party. We had a great time! Spencer still loves pirates so he had another Captain Jack Sparrow cake. He insisted on dressing up and his black tie had little white skulls all over it! Too cute!

{Day 68 ~ 3.8.12}

Today was an in-service day with Parent/Teacher Interviews in the afternoon so the girls and I took advantage of the beautiful 13 degree weather and went to Victoria Park in between going to the mall for my eye exam, having lunch at McDonald's, going to see Kaylee's teacher and going to Sobey's for some groceries. It was pretty slushy, muddy & wet, but the girls had fun playing by the river with all the rushing water.

{Day 67 ~ 3.7.12}

The girls got their reports cards yesterday and both girls did great! Kaylee did slightly better than last term and although this photo shows Kristen got all C's and 1 U, inside on individual subjects she got all A's and 1 B. We're so proud of both of them!

{Day 66 ~ 3.6.12}

The anxiety book I ordered for Kaylee came in today. It's a bit more wordy than I thought it would be, but I heard great reviews about it so hopefully it'll help her out! Still no word on when she'll start seeing the school psychologist.

{Day 65 ~ 3.5.12}

Kristen stayed home from school today because she still wasn't well but we needed more medicine so I had to take her to MacQuarries with me. I also grabbed her a Webkinz Dreamy Sheep for Easter...it's so FLUFFY!! LOL

{Day 64 ~ 3.4.12}

This afternoon Kristen came home from playing at a friend's house feeling a bit sick. She felt better by supper so we went to Frank & Gino's as planned, but as soon as she got her food in front of her, she said she felt sick again. Poor girlie...I guess her supper for tomorrow is all made though!

{Day 63 ~ 3.3.12}

I took a few hours to rearrange Kristen's room today since it's been a while. Kaylee was sad that we couldn't do hers, but it's just so small...they way it is is the only way it can be! :(

{Day 62 ~ 3.2.12}

Kaylee's class went skating at Deuville's Rink today. It was her first time ever and she did awesome! Within 20 minutes she was skating on her own without holding onto anything! She is really proud of herself as am I! She kept coming over to me saying "I love skating so much!" and I kept telling her "well go do it then!!" LOL

{Day 61 ~ 3.1.12}

Lately Kristen has been showering by herself so Kaylee has taken the opportunity to take baths. She says it helps her belly so she's been wanting to take a bath every day....like begging me to have one! LOL
